It is centred in a rich heritage, shaped by a long history of cross-cultural mission and partnership. The NZCMS brand is built around a simple but powerful truth, everyone is sent. Rooted in John 20:21, “As the Father has sent me, I am sending you”, the identity captures the call at the heart of the Gospel, that mission is not for a few, but for all. It speaks with clarity and confidence, grounded in heritage, where love and respect for Aotearoa’s bicultural identity are to the fore, while a modern voice communicates plainly into the present. The visual identity draws its authority from cultural ground. The logotype is formed through angular, interwoven shapes inspired by tukutuku, expressing meaning, structure, and whakapapa, with the cross seamlessly stitched into one of the forms, grounding the grace and truth of all expression. Alongside this, the icon takes shape as a twin triangle structure, honouring a bicultural space, its two elements angled forward to convey movement while gesturing to both past and future. This same form functions as a compass, pointing outward and guiding direction.
