The Little Pilgrim’s Guide
Home of Compassion
The Little Pilgrim’s Guide is a invitation for children and their families to explore the idea of pilgrimage in a simple, meaningful, and hands-on way. Inspired by the life and legacy of Meri Hōhepa Suzanne Aubert, this guide helps young people step into a journey of discovery, reflection, and faith, whether at the Home of Compassion
With gentle prompts, interactive activities, and rich storytelling, it encourages children to slow down, notice, pray, and collect “treasures of the heart” along the way. Rooted in themes of hope, kindness, and connection, it reflects the spirit of pilgrimage as something accessible to everyone, no matter their age or stage.
A thoughtful and engaging resource, it opens up space for both little people and big people to journey together.
The Thoughtfulness Journal
Holi Boli
More than just a journal, The Thoughtfulness Journal is a glimpse into the heart behind Holi Boli, an ethical fashion label creating real change for women in India.
It’s a space to pause, reflect, and explore your own “why”, while being invited into the deeper story of a social enterprise built on dignity, opportunity, and hope. Through honest reflections and personal stories, you begin to see the impact behind the garments, and the lives being shaped along the way.
One moment captures it beautifully. A sewing student, holding the first certificate she’s ever received, says through tears,
“I am finally good at something.” It’s simple, but it says everything. New skills open doors, restore confidence, and create the possibility of a different future.
If you have a heart for India, or a desire to see business used as a force for good, this journal will draw you in. It’s thoughtful, grounding, and quietly powerful.
In-tensional
Justin Duckworth & Alan Jamieson
For this project, we designed the cover for In-tensional, a book that speaks into a moment many in the church are feeling but not always able to name.
Written by Archbishop Justin Duckworth and sociologist and pastor Alan Jamieson, In-tensional explores the growing tension between tradition and innovation, centre and edge, stability and change. With a mix of personal story, theological reflection, and sociological insight, it offers a hopeful and honest invitation to reimagine what it means to be the church today.
Rather than avoiding tension, the book leans into it, suggesting that this is often where God is most at work, inviting renewal, reshaping communities, and opening up new possibilities for the future.
Justin, now Archbishop Tikanga Pākehā of the Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia, brings decades of leadership and a deep passion for seeing the church renewed. Alongside him, Alan draws on years of pastoral experience and research into faith and community, offering a grounded and thoughtful perspective.
Together, they invite readers into a wider conversation, one that holds both courage and humility, and looks ahead with hope.
Called to Follow
Stu Crosson
Called to Follow is a practical and grounded devotional workbook designed to help people grow in the grace and truth of God, both personally and in community. Whether used individually or in small groups, it creates space for honest reflection, deeper discipleship, and a more intentional walk with Jesus.
Drawing on years of pastoral experience, Stu writes with clarity and care, inviting readers into a life that is not just about belief, but about transformation. He explores what it means to live with faith in the everyday, to navigate challenges with hope, and to experience the kind of steady, rooted peace that Jesus promises.
This is a resource built for real life, for churches, for groups, and for anyone wanting to move beyond surface-level faith into something deeper, more lived, and more lasting.
Standing on Their Shoulders
Wayne Kirkland
In this book, Wayne Kirkland shares stories of both well-known and lesser-known spiritual figures whose lives have shaped his own. These aren’t polished, untouchable heroes, but real people, marked by courage, struggle, faith, and humanity. Through their stories, and Wayne’s reflections woven throughout, readers are invited to see how ordinary lives, lived faithfully, can have a lasting and often unseen impact.
There’s a quiet depth to this book. It reminds us that we are part of something bigger, a shared spiritual heritage that continues to shape and guide us today. As highlighted in the foreword, these stories don’t just inform, they challenge and encourage us to step into our own place in God’s story with courage and hope.
A reflective and grounding read, especially for those wanting to draw strength and perspective from the lives of others.
Restoring the Story
Rev Dr Anne van Gend
Restoring the Story is a Lent study that invites readers to rediscover the heart of the gospel, the good news of atonement, in a way that is both thoughtful and accessible. Anne brings together theology and story with real clarity, helping unpack big ideas around Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection in a way that feels grounded and relatable.
What gives this book its unique texture is the way it leans into story. By drawing on familiar worlds like Narnia and Harry Potter, it creates bridges between imagination and theology, opening up fresh ways for people to understand and engage with faith.
The design follows that same thread, expressive but restrained, creating space for reflection while gently guiding the reader through each part of the journey. Whether used in a group or on your own, it’s designed to be something you move through slowly, not just read once and put down.
Sunflowers
Renee C. Y. Ong
This was a project where story and design were closely intertwined, from the cover through to the overall feel of the book.
Sunflowers, the first in the Beth Sonata series, is a reflective and quietly powerful novel that explores identity, belonging, faith, and grace. Through Beth’s journey between cultures and places she calls home, the story unfolds with honesty and sensitivity, capturing both the beauty and the tension of navigating who we are.
There’s a gentleness to this book. It doesn’t rush. Instead, it invites you to slow down, to sit with the story, and to notice the deeper threads of longing, healing, and the ways God meets us in the ordinary and the in-between.
The design mirrors that same tone, soft, spacious, and expressive, creating a visual world that supports the story rather than competing with it. It’s the kind of book that feels as considered on the outside as it is on the inside.
A thoughtful read for anyone who enjoys story-driven reflections on faith, culture, and the journey of becoming.
